A very thoughtful gift. Opens up the options for new covers to brighten her day lol

Most people don’t believe me when I say I actually bought my Mrs an iron for Xmas. Was one of those all singing all dancing steam generators and she actually wanted one, but it’s still a claim to fame lol

What happens for those who don't identify as men or women?

Can we have yet another day of celebrating whatever, perhaps?

Well I hope they don’t try to steal a day that they’ve already stated doesn’t apply to them lol.

I’m not too sure what these days achieve to be honest

It's only really for the BBC to be able to push their anti male agenda even more.

The BBC love men, well, as long as they are gay.

Does International Humans day discriminate against non-International Humans? I'm Human (I think) but not necessarily International.

"Does International Humans day discriminate against non-International Humans? I'm Human (I think) but not necessarily International."

I didn’t create it but the creators are probably not forum users so doubt you’ll get an answer from them.

I think we are all members of the same universe whether we like it or not. But I don’t see the purpose of these days that are by design, discriminatory. What are men supposed do on women’s day? Commit suicide? Hide in the cellar? You don’t stop discrimination by discriminating

You do know there's an international men's day, too, don't you?

But I do love to see all the affronted men when it's international women's day.

I do, although it’s probably not mentioned on the BBC or in the guardian.

So what are women meant to do on men’s day? Stay in the kitchen? or the bedroom? Make extra sandwiches?

Bad move unfortunately, she demanded a new iron as the old one was giving her shocks so another present 🎁

Women don't jump on posts about international men's day and moan "what about a day for women?" They may highlight the particular issues affecting men, like higher suicide rates, male violence, mental health etc. They may celebrate the contributions some men have made to community and society. They may just scroll on by.

But at least you know what she wants lol. Better than getting told of for buying the wrong thing lol

I think if there was only one or the other, then there would be a reason to point that out, whichever it happened to be.

As I have said, I don’t see the point of either. Every day should be a day we stand up for women’s rights and every day should be a day we stand up for men’s rights. We shouldn’t forget either for the other 364 days of the year

I agree. I’ve actually been banned from groups for being very outspoken about women’s rights. Have to sometimes choose careful wording or comments get deleted.

And yet, women's rights are at risk of being eroded. Men's rights are not.

I agree with you totally! I think there’s a core group of men that think women’s rights should be done away with.

Red pepper hummus is the worst. I demand there be a separate day for Moroccan hummus which is clearly superior.
