Maybe naively, part of me thinks it's just typical news cycle focusing on the next biggest thing.

We don't know the extent of the Epstein files so wouldn't want to speculate that it's connected to international war if there are very different motives. The cynical part of me does wonder how much of these international issues is used as a distraction though.
