"You have anger issues ?"

What anger at where tax payer money is getting wasted. If someone makes a mistake at work why should they get a pay out and a garenteed pension.

For the record he did the right thing in going, whether he should have been sacked or as it was is another question..

If he was suspended pending a hearing which may have led to his dismissal he would have been paid till the hearing outcome and whatever appeal was open to him..

He had retired under the scheme in place Nationally at the end of 2024 so he was already getting his pension i believe..

His pension is something he has paid into all his career so he's entitled to it at some point..

Just as a person who has accrued enough of a pension during whatever job they are in can take their pension as their scheme stares after serving a prison sentence can..

Central

It may depend on his contract and how the discussions went, after his atrocious performance. He didn't appear to be in any rush so has probably realised he's in a his last chance saloon to get any more public money, so will ensure it's his biggest payout.

I'm unsure that having Police and Crime Commissioners locally added any value for the public, as they were just another interference and barrier to just getting him gone
