Downing Street says Britain will "deploy forces to Ukraine in event of a peace deal".

In a statement released after Starmer signed the "declaration of intent" earlier, his office says: "This is a declaration of intent to deploy forces to Ukraine in event of a peace deal.

"This is a vital part of our iron cast commitment to stand with Ukraine for the long term.’’

In the meantime should we be concerned of any Russian retaliation?

"

In a fit of spite towards Britain, Putin vowed not to put Novichok in Keir Starmer's morning coffee.

Im pretty sure they were aware of that threat before today..

Perhaps its just another thing that will be 'negotiated' ..

Trumps man Witkoff would have been aware of it, could be something his boss is OK with as a bit of Europe showing support etc..

Who knows..

Maybe there'll be an attack on one of Putins hair salons or something..

They can say what they want cos they know Russia won't stop. Maybe though this is a way of making sure they won't stop till there completely spent or putins gone
