"Was it very windy?" The fact that it was quite windy is why I noticed that they were there on my outward journey. The wind would not have blown them away, however.

Of course, that is completely different to what we see in the UK as the British in Spain are ex Pats and not immigrants!

"Imagine what it's going to be like during the world cup? " Apparently that's ok, but once the final whistle goes and your flag is still flying then you instantly turn into a racist knuckle dragger and instantly blame immigrants for all the countries woes.

"The colour of the Hindu swastika and the angle of its lines is different to the Nazi swastika." but outside of Germany is it illegal to display it?personally I don't particularly like the Israel palestine or Ukraine and Russia flags,do I think people should be allowed to fly them yes they should just like people should be allowed to fly the union flag and st George cross

"Give me 40k and I'll go tomorrow. Where would you go ? " Spain probably. But they are also having lots of illegal immigration issues. Shame the Polish language is so difficult to learn as I'd go there. Hardly any crime there, very clean country and they have very few homeless and beggers like over here because they put their own citizens first unlike over here.

"And just what is the definition of a flag shagger exactly #asking for a friend" Right wing nut who worships them. Wears everything they can with them on and gets off on bread wrapped in one. Because they support a flag and bullshit, not actual people. They worship the establishment and ignore the vast crimes

Personally I find it offensive to cable tie our national flag to lamposts, the flag should be treated with more respect. A load of the ones put up were even upside down which shows you the level of respect being shown.

A load of the ones put up were even upside down which shows you the level of respect being shown." Plenty of ignoramuses around when it comes to flag protocol. Apart from the frequent upside down Union Flags, another very common solecism is flying the appropriate flag with its upermost edge exactly half way up a flagpole when someone has died. It should be approximately one and a half flag depths, below the hoist. Police stations commemorating deceased colleagues are nearly always in the exactly halfway camp. Sadly they don't appear to refer to any definitive manuals, or have firm guidance from above in the matter. Also, when being hoisted, the flag should be fully raised before being lowered to the 'half mast' height as part of the ceremony.
