Is the lifetime ISA a useful and more importantly an affordable luxury when we the country is struggling financially or is it essential to donate tax money to people trying to buy a house what about the people who are homeless because of the lack of housing ?

near enough

"Are you arguing for socialism for the haves?"

It was a question, usually requires an answer or opinion not an insult

IMO it's not something the country can afford at the moment when tax rises are being considered.

It sounds like he wants privileged people to have greater state funded money. That's socialism.

We already have socialism for the banks and capitalism for the poor and it only increases inequality.

Trickle down doesn't work.

The only thing that needs to happen is a greater redistribution of wealth from the old to the young and from billionaires to the poor

Where did I say anything of the sort ?

Donate tax money to people who want to pay houses.

State funded money for people who can afford to save

Your also conflating homelessness with the housing crisis.

Most people who are homeless wouldn't be able to afford to rent or buy due to their personal mental health problems and or addictions

If you're going to comment on current affairs you should keep up to date and at least read what's written 🤷‍♂️

The title is from a recent published article and the comment is a question which implies nothing that your brain seems to have interpreted

Think I've understood it better.

If you're helping people from lower income to get on the housing ladder that's a good thing. But not if your handing out money to people who can afford to buy anyway.

It is essential to help the homeless, but it isn't either or.

Homelessness is more of a health crisis.
