War crimes have been committed and are happening daily yet Israel gets away with it again and again. They try to cover up their actions, they deny they ever happened then, if the truth comes out, they investigate what happened and say "lessons learnt". Israel is the criminal here. The film ‘Lebanon’ comes to mind. A young tank crew who on one occasion were ordered to fire on a suspect truck, after killing the driver - of the pick up found it to be full of caged birds. On the second occasion they disobeyed orders, hesitated and did not fire on another target which were militants, the crews failure to fire resulted in Israeli soldiers being killed. The film also characterises the terror of tanks rolling into urban civilian areas firing at will. | |||

Surely the sensible thing to do would have been to visit the Israeli embassy in London beforehand to discuss the trip, rather than spending thousands on themselves and their aides only to be turned away at the border... | |||
