A large anti Hamas protest in Gaza happened yesterday. Hundreds of people took to the streets chanting out out Hamas out.

I hope they are safe and succeed in what they are risking everything for. It takes courage to stand up to a terrorist organisation as ruthless as Hamas, especially when they have nowhere to hide.

and apart from one news channel it was hardly reported which makes me think why would this not be reported worldwide.

It’s the act of protest itself that is the headline.

Read somewhere that there's a group in Gaza planning more protests tomorrow, let's see if that happens but it would need much more traction to have any real affect,

Doesn't suit the pro Hamas narrative.

The thing is most people are going to say they support Hamas because of fear of Hamas.

It was the same before the fall of Communism but once the ground swell was big enough more and more came out against the regime.

Hopefully that might happen here but I wouldn't hold my breath,

Nonsense. In the 2006 election Hamas won by 47% v 47% for Fatah. That was hardly a ringing endorsement. The following year the Hamas faction wiped out humdreds if not thousands of the Fatah leaders. There has been no election since, unlike in Israel. Gaza, like much of the middle east, is run along clan lines abd structured and supported by criminal activity. The prevailing clan supremacy is aboiit to change and it's just a matter of time now before the Sunni, Druze and Chrisroan majority in Lebanon take on Hezbollah and kick them out of Lebanon, just as Assad has been kicked out of Syria.
