Trump is the worlds most dangerous man.

From the land of haribos.

Did you see what the former swedish pm fredrik reinfeldt said about l? He said that he is the worlds most dangerous man. I am not surprised about what he said, are you?

Here is what reinfeldt said, he argues that it is even more dangerous for the leader of the united states to support the russian view of the world order than for putin to do so, as todays global order is built on the u.s. being superior in military, economic and academic terms.

Reinfeldt concluded by saying that when a country like that gets a leader who refelcts more When a country like that gets a leader who reflects more dictatorial principles, then he becomes the most dangerous man in the world, because then he shuts down the engine of the free world.

What is your view of it, do you also agree that he is the most dangerous man? I agree with it and what he said about him too.

I’m never quite sure who is in this “free world” or what the criteria for membership are. It sounds a bit colonialist.

Trump stood on a platform and was elected by the US electorate to enact that platform. That’s what he seems to be doing.

It doesn’t seem to suit some Europeans, who think Trump should ignore his voters and do what foreign “leaders” say instead, in their interests rather than the interests of US citizens.

That doesn’t seem very democratic. Which makes me suspect it is probably Trump’s detractors who aren’t quite sure what democracy is.

Yes it does seem that the Europeans have got their knickers in a twist with him. They/we have had it far too cushy with the US picking up our defence tab for way too long. Reality has just bitten them/us on the arse and the politicians don't like it.

I do think he is dangerous, but far from the "most" dangerous. More a bit of a loose cannon than having evil intentions.

Give him credit for some things though.

He's well on the way to sorting out Biden's immigration disaster and, although still a good way off, he's got the ball rolling on getting peace in Ukraine. It's a damn site further forward than it was in January.

The fact that you were able to make this post on a platform like this means you are probably in the 'free world' by most people's understanding of the definition. You may call it colonialist if you wish.

Who is this “most people”?

Do you mean most Europeans?

I’m afraid I don’t know what “free world” means. Maybe you could assist in defining it.

I mean the Americans seem to have doubts about whether Europe still is in the free world. Meanwhile the Europeans seem to have doubts as to whether the US is still in the free world.

So which is correct? It seems pretty subjective.

Yes, Trump was elected. So was Putin. So was Hitler. Doesn't mean they're not tyrants, and that we shouldn't safeguard against their influence.

The free world has usually meant the former colonial powers. Who have told former colonised countries " do as we say and not do as we do".

Browbeat, sanction, funded coups or even intervene militarily in any country that disobey's..

He is only dangerous in some people’s minds, mostly those who put him on a pedestal, at almost god level.

Definition - "the free world" - those countries whose governments have been chosen in fair elections and whose people have full human rights.

My recollection is that it was coined during the 'cold war' but no doubt you know better.

couple, us we him her.

He basically reminds me of that one kid everyone knew at school, spoilt rotten everyone scared to say anything in retaliation against their bullying.

They go looking for trouble where there isn't any sticking their noses in everything.

I wouldn't like anything serious to happen to him but wish someone would give his a kick in the nuts

It is however fun to watch the continued coverage of his utter failure of a trade war, continuing the USA’s tradition of having to run away from every war they have entered on their own.

I don’t even think it’s a European defence thing….

The thing about Trump is that he sees the presidency like a king and he has an authoritarian bent to him …. Look at the people he admires and is always bringing up, Putin, xi, Kim, orban (which is the absolute Hungarian playbook for the way he is trying to take over the press)

You can talk about it being European .. but it’s really expansionist… Greenland, the Panama Canal, Canada, Gaza

It’s about bullying… tariffs

It’s about revenge… autocratic… destroying anyone who he thinks has done him wrong

Trump has been keeping his promises, like sending troops to run the southern border. He wants to put a stop to the wars in Ukraine and Palestine. He will have known from the off that he would be upsetting people. Decisions will be made that will upset Putin and Zelensky, Hamas and Netanyahu. He can’t be seen to show any signs of weakness.

If anything, I believe the world will be a much safer place because of Donald Trump.

I'm assuming he took it out of trump's mouth when he invaded Crimea during Obama's reign and invaded Ukraine during Bidens
