I'm still a few years away from looking at renewing it but if measures are in place to make it easier and give flat owners more rights hopefully it will be a good thing. " As far as I know, leasehold reform was all about curbing the sneaky practices of builders selling houses on leases. I'm not aware of any proposed changes to flats. What sort of extra rights do you think would be a good idea? | |||

" The latest update I’ve seen (30/01/25) says Labour intend to consult on the rates used to set lease extension prices in summer of this year. But say further primary legislation will be required before these can be implemented. | |||
