He's more a sociopath than a psychopath I think " The strange thing I find is the number of normally sensible people who think of him as intelligent, or that he has leadership qualities, or he can fix things like the economy or international affairs. I must have been looking at a very different trump for last decade or so. It's a reflection on not just the people who voted for him, but those trying to suck up to an obvious sociopath, from David lammy, Peter mandelson & Keir starmer to those who want to normalise someone, whose been an apple short of a fruit salad for a long time. | |||

Well as he's pretty much ripped out the entire management and safety team of the air traffic and safety departments this week, he needs to blame someone else "Indeed. Should the investigation find the helicopter pilot at fault, what then? Obviously, it might not, but if it does? Refusal to accept the truth? Wouldn't be unusual for him - or his devotees. That's the most dangerous thing about him and them. An unwillingness to accept facts they don't like and a desire to distort reality accordingly. | |||

So many of them, of both Republican and Democrat leanings, are basically good people but what I find is a common thread running between them all. They all have been affected by the all pervasive propaganda pumped out from cradle to grave that America is the greatest country on Earth. There is a naivety in that belief that tends to dismiss the reality of their situation and cling to religion and demigods like Trump. As the rest of the big world doesn't participate in those sports, they can't win and be named champions.
