" yea but I was asking is there anything else they can sanction them on if so why hasn't it been done already and are america still trading with russia if say that's a bit hypocritical funding ukraine and filling punting coffers still I thought the west had stopped trading with them so that would make tariffs pretty useless | |||

"Depends on Putins mood. Should be interesting how this develops. Putin has Gchina on his side so he's probably not bothered. Hope Trump can stop the war." Reported that 40% Russian state revenue spent on this war. That is not sustainable. If he does a deal some sanctions could be released. | |||

" Sanctions didn't quite workout how they expected them to... Oil and gas supplied by Russia to many countries was purchased in Roubles. The oil and gas were then resold back into some EU countries, India is making a fortune. Relations with African and Asian countries expanded too. Lastly the propaganda from the sanctions bolstered Putin's arguments about the West and strengthened his position internally. Not sure what Trump is thinking of in terms of more sanctions. | |||
