"Labour's largest donation at last election came from Cayman Island hedge fund. £4m." Why is this not a Guardian or BBC headline

"Turns out the Govt Minister Tulip Sadiq (whose job involves tackling financial corruption) was gifted two London Properties by a family friend heavily involved with the Bangladeshi Govt. Her family has already been accused of receiving billions from Putin in a corrupt nuclear power deal. " The new UK to US ambassador Peter Mandelson committed mortgage fraud hiding three mortgages totalling £600,000, when on a salary of £43,000, so he could get another mortgage from the Yorkshire building society to buy a house in Notting Hill. Trumped I guess by Rachel Reeves getting a £145,000 ministerial job via a fraudulent CV Add more Labour MP’s jailed for expenses fraud than from any other party

If she is indeed corrupt herself then probably knows how to spot corruption and the tricks or tactics they use. Alternatively he could just be a blithering idiot

"Labour's largest donation at last election came from Cayman Island hedge fund. £4m. Why is this not a Guardian or BBC headline " From my understanding, this is a cross party issue and there's some weird loophole (of course) which means they can essentially get away with not having a clear identity/ trace of where the money comes from. Hence why the other parties aren't currently making a load of noise about it. I read about this a few months ago.

"A sitting MP resigned just like they used to do." I'm not so sure this was a common occurrence like they used to... Anti-corruption minister resigning over corruption allegations of £3.9bn.... Maybe they should have another look at that fictional 22 billion blackhole, Siddiq and Haigh where were they on the night of the discovery? Dah DaH Dah... ![]()

The bigger issue again is Starmer's awful judgement. The allegations about TS have been around for years yet he gave her an anti corruption brief! Apparently they are close family friends, how cosy. Did you see story recently that Louise Haigh had admitted making a false report about a stollen phone in order to get a new one? Again Starmer knew but went ahead and made her a Minister.

Dah DaH Dah... ![]() I never did see any explanation for that 22 billion hole. I did see an interview of one of the OBR guys by Andrew neil. In it the guy says there was just under 10 billion of spending pressure that was not reported. He stressed that spending pressure is not the same as spending commitments and that the difference it would have made to their report was not significant. He could not account for the rest of the alleged 22 billion and does not know how those figures were come to.
