Labour Education Reforms

Labour Education Secretary Bridget Phillistine is planning major changes to the School Curriculum to make it more 'diverse' which seems to mean less Shakespeare and more graffiti workshops.

In the last 14 years English schools have risen sharply in the international rankings for literacy and numeracy while far more are now ranked 'Outstanding' than in 2010. The opposite is true in Labour run Wales.

Is this another Labour disaster in the making or a necessary modernisation of our young people's thinking?

More proposed reforms are:

Relax Ofsted inspections.

Less freedom for Academies.

More flexible working for Teachers.

Phillipson's main advisor is a gender and equality 'expert' who said previous Labour Governments were 'too focused on educational attainment'.
