Border of London

Well, something big is afoot.

South Korea has declared martial law (to deal with North Korean communist threats), the opposition isn't terribly happy and is trying to assemble a majority of lawmakers to overturn the decision - incidentally these guys cannot now be arrested. This all comes against the backdrop of a tussle over the next budget.

Genuine communist threat, a cynical political play or just another chapter in a Korean drama?

Reunification incoming, one way or another?

Do global alliances and pacts resemble those of Europe 110 years ago?

A great place for another proxy war?

It's small wonder other democracies are wobbling when the US is setting such a piss poor example
