The correct method for injured deer is to cut throat and let bleed out. Can't be firing of a .308 with cars passing bye. | |||

Agree, that's what we used to do, I was on police register for call outs but normally it was a deer at side of road where you shouldn't use a firearm.
The correct method for injured deer is to cut throat and let bleed out.
Can't be firing of a .308 with cars passing bye."yeah we kept quite a few fallow where i used to work so have a few good mounts and would a shotgun with a slug be appropriate at the roadside? | |||

In other news thousands of convicts released early from prison " from recently speaking with a vet im sure it could be something to do with ketamine, the tranq is no longer readilly available so the replacememt they use isnt as easy to predict, may be wrong but remember his saying something along these lines | |||

"Have you got solid slug on your firearms cert? Solid slug goes on your firearms cert as so semi auto shotguns. I can purchase and hold 500 solid slug for purposes of practical Shotgun but not authorised to use them on wild life. Solid slug cartridges are £110 for 100, very expensive and as rare as hens teeth right now as they are all being sent to supply Ukraine. Realistically in my opinion a firearm should not be used on main roads and one of the worst roads for deer is the A9. If police allow fair enough but not advised when traffic is passing by. Use a knife. | |||
