Was the 2020 Biden win rigged after all?

As a person who has never given a minute to those who argued that the 2020 Biden win was rigged, I am now beginning to wonder if indeed it actually was.

As I understand it (happy to be fact checked), Trump got less votes in 2024 than he did in 2020. This is perhaps understandable given what has happened with him in the last four years.

Kamala Harris however lost 20 million votes from those who voted for Biden in 2020 despite underlying data about registrations and early voting. It just seems implausible to me that in such a crucial election the Democrats managed to lose 20 million votes.

Were those 20 million votes even real in 2020?

Trump today is pretty much the same person as he was 4 years ago. You'd expect him to get roughly the same number of votes as last time. Kamala Harris however is not Joe Biden. She appeals to different demographics, and you'd expect her to get a different number of votes.

Unless you're of the opinions that Americans vote blindly for party, with no consideration of who will be their president.

It depends on what you mean by “rigged”.

There was obviously far more scope for ballot harvesting in 2020 in the middle of Covid and with different voting rules in some states which no longer apply.

Trump didn’t really get anywhere with his court cases around cheating in 2020, though some of that was because the courts thought the Republicans should have brought their cases sooner. They’ve been far more proactive this time when they’ve seen any irregularities.

Certainly there was a concerted attempt to limit access to some information in the legacy and social media, for instance around the Hunter Biden laptop story.

There is no doubt that the media suppressed some stories, the Twitter files and Zuckerberg’s own testimony have confirmed this beyond doubt.

There was also the instance of the 50 odd national security experts claiming that the Hunter Biden laptop story was a Russian disinformation campaign, which we now know was totally untrue. Maybe Trump will now act against those “experts” and revoke their security clearance.

“Rigging” takes many forms.

But Trump in 2024 has still been subject to relentless one sided propaganda from the legacy media (CNN, MSNBC, ABC etc), the problem for them now is that these sort of outlets just have very little influence any more, and have lost a lot of credibility since 2015.

does look a little sketchy but I doubt we will ever know we'll unless trump starts clearing out the security agency's of anyone who went against him and let's not pretend there are plenty he could get rid of

Harris had 70 million compared to Bidens 81, an 11 million deficit

Trump lost about 2 million from last time

I don't believe it was due to fraud

I think it was apathy from dem supporters

They wouldn't vote for trump, but they couldn't bring themselves to turn up for Harris, which is no one's fault but the democrats

It wasn’t rigged… they just didn’t like the democratic “top” of the ticket…..

If you look at just the perceived swing states…

In Michigan, where they won the senate seat, the senate candidate got more votes than Harris and trump

In Wisconsin, where they won the senate race the senate candidate got more votes than Harris and trump

In Pennsylvania, where they won the senate, the senate candidate got more votes than Harris and trump

Same thing happened in the Arizona and Nevada senate races…. As well as the North Carolina governors race

With the exception of Georgia, which had no governor or senate race on the ballot , the democrats actually won the next 6 races down on each of the ballots!

Harris up to almost 71million votes now with more to come. The combined Harris - Trump vote won't be much less than 2020 when it was boosted by high postal voting due to Covid.
