A report published has found that there are affordable houses built as part of planning have been left empty. Some for up to three years.

Apparently because housing associations do not want to take them in. This is because it’s said of poor quality. And the prices the developers want for them.

So instead of building more maybe just sort what we already have available and hold the developers accountable for the poor quality they are building.

Another problem is that the Housing Associations do not have sufficient funds to buy them from the developers.

Eastleigh

Just not viable. Leasehold charges and street maintenance charges that apply in some of the new built areas.
