Trump and the RNC will be watching very carefully to see how it is done in case there are sufficiant idiots in the USA to re-elect Trump as President for life.

An election chooses mps and governments, thr party chooses their leader, if the party is the biggest party that party chooses the pm. No election in the uk is to choose a pm.
