It's not new. It was effectively Trumps tactic in his first election.

Qiestion: is posting lots of links here without any real insight a form of this ? If not intentional it could have a similar effect.

It wasn't trumps tactic it was Bannon, he was trumps strategist.

is posting lots of links here without any real insight a form of this ? .... No as I have insight, fact and evidence just upsets the disrupters, so they flood the zone.

If not intentional it could have a similar effect.... Only if people are down the rabbit hole or sailing off the edge of the world

Imo you are flooding. Posting just a link offers none of your insight. The article itself was limited on facts and evidence and read more like an opinion piece. One I agree with, limited on analysis.

Not entirely sure what the fuss is about in the article from 2021 but can certainly see credence in this particular statement. Negative crap that has no bearing in real life has a huge reach on the internet as the more outrageous and ridiculous something is the more likely it is to be shared.
