Nice to see our elected leader (not) talk about the dangers of extremists in democracy....

Hmm after gorgeous George win, well rishi at least George won, bit of a cynic in me thinks rishi is a bit worried, especially after another independent came second.

Why does the term democracy only suit them when it arises

There is an awful lot of creep of not doing the right thing it's everywhere, the true value of parliamentary democracy is one of those conundrums best left to the plebs.

Sunak is disconnected from reality with “No working class mates “

Ex green card, ex non dom spouse

Sunak declared £2.1 million earnings last year, 70 times the average uk wage

With spouses offshore wealth of over $4bn they are 20,833 richer than the average Briton (£192000 ons)

Together they dodge more tax annually than the average person earns in a lifetime.

He is PM in name only.

It's a good job the PM hasn't made himself look a bit silly in addressing the nation and telling us that the election of one independent MP is 'beyond alarming and there are forces trying to tear us apart'..

You should go to the papers and tell them which taxes he's dodging. That would get him kicked out of office, and we can have an early general election.

Unless, of course, you're just making it up.

Sunak is the two faced boy who cried wolf, all of a sudden he's getting outraged and kicking up a fuss when he's sat round the table saying nothing as his colleagues have trotted out racism and some have pushed an agenda..

Now one person gets elected and people protest about his failures to call out what's going on and he's losing it and rambling in front of number ten..

You talk some angry BS.

He is talking about the types people manipulating the people of this country, the people driving division and succeeding.

The government are damned if they do and damned if they don't when it comes the war in Gaza, you simply need someone to be angry at! Why not be angry at Israel and Palestine in equal measure, why put the blame at the door of our government.

The labour party let Rochdale down, Starmer saying they will only put the right candidates up for election did not happen and door was left open.

I like that Starmer took responsibility for this, and I would like it even more if he would sit down with Sunak and attempt to steady the ship.

I think Starmer and Sunak managed to let Rochdale down.

The Tory candidate went on holiday..

Starmer? Did he know that the labour candidate would do what he did?

Tbf Galloway is one guy. He's taken a lot of flak without what I would call evidence that he's an extremist in the sense of that word.. but time will tell

There are other options than the main two.

If you don't have strong opinions. Lib Dems might be good.

If you want the government to stop prioritising oil company profits over everything else. The greens might be good.

If you're terrified of foreigners, think science isn't real, and that teachers aren't racist enough. Reform might be good.

Depending where you are, there are probably other options too.

The only peaceful way to change things we can think of would be to elect independents. If you find large political parties and mass media speaking against something it's usually something that is a danger to their power and influence.

Driving division ; the government has said nothing about the endless devaluing of international laws through attrocities committed by Isreal and also supplying an aphartied government committing these attrocities and you have the ordacity to

say others are causing division.

Sunak is immoral and you know it!

Needing something to be angry at?

Injustice, criminality racist colonialism taking place and an impotent complicit government in the pocket of isreal is okay with you?

I agree people preaching hate speeches etc wrong ..

But has to be equal.

That means Zionist propoganda justifying genocide too btw
