Biden wins the Democratic nomination! Which is odd, as he wasn’t on the ballot paper.

The primary followed months of heated disagreement between New Hampshire Democrats and the national party over the primary calendar. The Democratic National Committee decided last year to make South Carolina the first voting state, a move that upended a century-old tradition of New Hampshire hosting the first primary.

Outraged over the voting calendar change, New Hampshire officials chose to hold an unsanctioned Democratic primary on Tuesday, although the DNC has said it will not award delegates based on the results. Biden’s name did not appear on the ballot, which included 21 names in total, but the president’s allies launched a vigorous write-in campaign in support of his re-election.

Strange that the msm don’t really cover this story. I thought the Democratic Party was harmonious and united behind their chosen one.

It’s covered in plenty of new media

Does Biden know that he may become President again?

Hopefully whoever is actually running the United States will tell him at some point.

Upper age limit for a President should be 70 so no older than 65 at election time.

"Upper age limit for a President should be 70 so no older than 65 at election time."

Why? Plenty of people work past 70. Sounds like ageism.

People age at different rates. Trump is sharp, youthful, vigorous. Biden has just aged very quickly and continues to deteriorate by the day.

People should be treated as individuals.

Looks like Trump has thrashed Haley in New Hampshire. Latest count 55-44 according to the WSJ.

NH being Haley’s best shot.

Time for her to drop out and get behind President Trump.

Sounds like it was nothing to do with candidates and more to do with being cheered at some changes to voting order.

Also, if write ins won then that feels pretty harmonious. I could argue that it's more democratic to allow to vote wider than the names on a paper !

Trump, 77, has recently raised eyebrows over a series of blunders that have included slurring his words during campaign speeches, seemingly suggesting that former President Barack Obama is currently in office and most recently appearing to confuse Haley with former Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

I don’t care if it is ageism. You do know that the US Constitution says you cannot be President if you are under 35! So that is ageism too!

"

These are easy mistakes to make.

Somebody other than Biden is the real President. It may be Obama, who isn’t gay and isn’t married to a man.

Haley and Pelosi are difficult to tell apart.

"Strange that the msm don’t really cover this story. I thought the Democratic Party was harmonious and united behind their chosen one."

It for the most part is… there is nothing to stop anyone from running for president, even your lord and saviour trump last time round in 2020 had 5 people running against him for the republican nomination (and what trump did was ask state parties not to hold caucuses/primaries at all and just nominate him…. So much for that democracy thing!)

Anyway… there is nothing to stop a state going in any order they want besides tradition… and the reason is to why the Democratic Party decided they wanted to change the order of their process was 2 fold

1) they thought the current order doesn’t reflect the people that would normally vote for their candidates…

2) it gave smaller states an outsized influence and importance over the entire process

So they thought South Carolina more accurately reflects the entire democratic membership….

Think of it like this… if you were to pick a candidate for the entire country in an order…. And you ( and this isn’t meant to be offensive to the town I chose) bromsgrove, then Stevenage… you pick first and what you choose affects the entire population!!!
