Apparently 650,000 Ukrainians have dodged the draft by leaving the country.

The only people being sent to the front line are older poorly educated men from villages who can’t bribe their way out. Meanwhile younger men have either left, bribed their way out of the country, or have got exemptions signed by their employers so they are just carrying on partying and clubbing in the cities as though nothing is happening.

Anyone with money who does get press-ganged can buy themselves a low risk role a long way from the front line.

So basically the West is just funding a load of poor uneducated blokes from the sticks getting killed for no reason.

Has Ukraine organised next year’s election yet or is it still not happening?

Well hats off to these older poorly educated men for holding the might of the Russian military and inflicting huge casualties on them.

a village near Haywards Heath in East Sussex

If F16 aircraft are used to take the defence into offense over Russia then won't this be an escalation ? Or is there a caveat in how they are used ?

I suspect it will be like the other weapons supplied by the west in that they can be used to attack targets in Ukraine, including Crimea but not into Russia itself. I might be wrong but think the attacks Ukraine have launched at targets inside Russia are done mostly with their original weapons and Ukrainian made drones or drones from non western suppliers

Which is a bit of a shame. The gloves came off ages ago. The sowed the wind and should reap the whirlwind.

It will be defence until every last Russian is off Ukrainian land. I trust there are no caveats.
