"Labour have defeated the SNP by quite the margin. I know its too early but is this what we may see next year with Labour taking quite a few of the SNP seats in Scotland?" Unfortunately you may be correct. This would ease Sir Slimy's ascent to power.

Scotland would be a great push towards a majority Govt though.

"Useless labour. Jackie fucking Baillie? The sooner the UK is gone, the better. I hate to break it to you mate. Scotland will not gain independence in your lifetime " I believe the rose tinted glasses that the SNP have been viewed through for the last 17 years are finally cracking and the incompetence and waste of their administration is showing. Scotland will benefit far more from Scottish Labour MPs in a Labour run UK Government than they will from SNP MPs sniping like petulent children at UK Government from the opposition benches.

" Labour have actually doubled the amount of seats they have in Scotland with this landslide victory. Of course, the polls suggest that this is only the tip of the iceberg and that Labour will be on track to win many more when we finally have a general election. Let's see...

I dont think they will take many seats from snp, Turnout was 37% Tactical voting to get labour the seat The younger voter who are mostly snp will vote in a GE but its a good news story for labour but one i dont see being repeated
