He's accused of trying to overturn his (presidential) defeat in Georgia.

Thirteen charges in total.

Trump states the accusations are politically motivated...

The thing with the state charges is. If he becomes President again, he can't pardon himself from state charges like he could do with Federal charges.

I'm losing count of the number of charges at this point. Will Trump finally end up being punished? Only time will tell...

What gets me with this is if he does become president, trying to extradite him to face any sentence isn't gonna be an easy feat.

Imagine if he then says 'Georgia want to punish the president, so the president will punish Georgia', he's mental enough to play that game.

I don't think there's anything that man wouldn't try if he thinks it might benefit him.

He said he could stand on fifth avenue and shoot someone, without losing any voters.

It may be the only true thing he’s ever said.

Why is it?

There is evidence of his team tampering with vote counting machines. There is evidence of a collusion to sow doubt into the integrity of the election…

What would you think of Labour or the Conservatives were literally caught tampering with vote counting machines?

"The thing with the state charges is. If he becomes President again, he can't pardon himself from state charges like he could do with Federal charges."

Presumably he'd be disqualified from running for president anyway if he's convicted.

14th Ammendment section 3:

"No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability."

The notoriously right wing Federalist Society have already come out to say that Trump is in breach of this - and no court case is required to determine this.

I'd tend to think think it would at least have to tested by the courts first

Oops, just realised I had misread the post is had responded to. Having heard on the news that he could pardon himself of certain charges if he was re-elected as president... That's what I was thinking was farcical.

But I don't think there is enough time to convict him before the elections start. That is the Trump camp argument the want the court cases adjourned until after the election. So if he wins he could pardon himself..

well if there's one thing Trump has a proven track record of competence in then it's delaying court procedings against him.

Which is perhaps why the Federalist Society (which despite their acknowledged VERY conservative bias are actually held with a degree of respect from their opposition) are saying that this is a done deal and doesn't require any kind of judicial scrutiny in order to be imposed

Can I ask what piece of this is farcical?

The tampering of voting machines in coffee county?

The attempt at getting Georgia state officials including the Georgia Secretary of State to “find 11780 votes “ because obviously you have listened to the hour long call…

The attempted intimidation of shay moss and ruby freeman, who have both been slandered to ridiculous lengths throughout this entire campaign

The Georgia fake electors scheme where they got local party officials to act a official state representatives

Can I suggest something to anyone reading this thread…

There is a brilliant podcast called “indicting Donald Trump” where they literally just read out the entire indictments…. Just so for those people with hot takes you can just sit down and listen

He wouldn’t be barred as such… they had that chance when they impeached him, but the Republican senators basically chickened out of making that decision by saying because he was leaving office it should be a matter for courts if he did anything illegal….

Also any potential attempt at self pardoning would also be challenged and would end up at the Supreme Court

The bad thing for trump about Georgia is that not only can he not even think about self pardoning, it is one of only two states where the governor cannot pardon him either! … and the Republican governor again today came out and said there were no voting issues in the general election!

Trump's so far ahead of his competitors he doesn't need to join in the free for all. So it's a pointless risk for him.

Then again, Trump is mad + a narcissist as you say.

I will say that if any American president was sent to jail my mouth would hit the floor.

Seeing what previous presidents have done and jail not even mentioned, I wonder what the thinking behind this Trump saga really is.

Because as i have seen throughout my time on this planet presidents do not go to jail or another political leaders, except those leaders who fall foul example the political leaders who didn't follow the covid narrative.

So if Trump goes to jail, I would ask what about those before him, is a crime against the electorate a crime or is there a their system to the level of criminality a president can commit.

Actually… ap did some polling that could out yesterday….

Trump actions in cases against him… broken up into 3 answers… illegal… unethical… nothing wrong

Classified documents: illegal 53% unethical 16% nothing wrong 15%

Georgia election interference: illegal 51% unethical 13% nothing wrong 15%

Federal election interference: illegal 47% unethical 18% nothing wrong 21%

Hush money payments illegal 34% unethical 38% nothing wrong 14%

Also favourable/ unfavourable… 32/66

Would you vote for trump if he was the GOP candidate… 33% yes… 64% no

That would mean if trump is at the top of the ticket.. Biden probably not only wins the presidency, but the democrats would hold the senate and retake the house

"

If Trump is right about the election rigging, then yes."

They have not provided any actual evidence or information about election rigging in any court of law in any case they have made in the United States

That is why they lost 63 cases.. and yet people are still mad enough to believe!

Not only that but in the Georgia case, the DA is going to put the former republican lt governor on the stand, and the republican Georgia Secretary of State on the stand , and the republican governor of Georgia on the stand and ask the all one question

Was there any election rigging in the election?

And they are all going to say… no!

"

If Trump is right about the election rigging, then yes.

"As an outsider without a horse in the race its amusing how angry people get at trump yet blatantly look the other way at some of the diabolical shit the Biden administration have been doing

Has Biden tried to subvert a democratic election, then?"

Can you say with certainty the amount of election fraud from either side was zero?

I know I can't.

If you honestly believe Trump is any less or more corrupt that Biden you are deluded and/or blinded by your politics.

Neither are fit to be president in my eyes. Its not a job that any 70+ year old should be given. Especially one who clearly has dementia or one that's only making it through the day with copious amounts of adderall.

Trump and Biden’s levels of corruption appear utterly incomparable. Whether that changes remains to be seen. Right now only one of them is facing multiple indictments, has played a role in instigating a riot in which several people died, and has actively tried to overturn the result of a democratic election.

Yes, all those allegations hold as much water as the bribes and other shit the Biden family are allegedly involved in.

This is the first time he's been in court for the trials though isn't it?

Just be interesting to see what sticks and what doesn't. He looks like he is in a lot of trouble.

Actually the republican committee have been throwing a lot of mud around, but at the moment even they admit there is no evidence that links any money Joe Biden has ever received to many money hunter Biden has made

I know people like to muddy the waters

Nothing as blatant as for example trump wanting to use his golf resort as the host venue for a G7 leaders summit

Or trump charging the secret service in his trump hotels

Or Jared literally making a 3 billion dollar deal with the Saudi 2 weeks after leaving the White House

But you are right!!! Bring me hunter Bidens laptop because the Chinese spy… sorry…. Whistleblower to me so!

P.s You do know the actual story about burisma don’t you?

If you believe none of it is true you are as deluded as the hard-core trumpers. Do I believe sleepy joe himself is involved? Likely not, the man can't even follow a teleprompter without going into some fucked up dementia fugue state. His power and influence have definitely been abused by his family and close friends however, just like trump. Much like every single world leader will have at some point.

Please don't try and make out like I'm in trumps corner either by throwing facts about his/his families corruption at me. Outside of thinking he's got great comedic timing and wanting him to run just to see some of the fucked up shit he says, I couldn't care less about the man. Like I said in my initial post, I don't have a horse in this race.

Is it not shady for Trump’s security detail to be paying excess rates in Trump hotels? (As apparently happened on tens of occasions?).

And of course that leads to another lie as Trump said they were being charged “like $50” for rooms.

I think the debate is getting a little heated.

All we know there are reasons why there are charges which have been brought against trump.

It’s upto the courts to decide whether he is innocent or guilty now.

Let’s be patient, it’s no good getting stressed about it.

American politics is incredebly corrupt and the system not particulay democratic. However putting aside Trump's lack of any real achievements while in office, he did try to overturn the results in Georgia, held classifoed documents in his home (including the names of foreign agents from friendly counties in hostile states) and called for a mob to march on congress.

He is not fit to govern, has links to state enemies and is a failed business man

Trump is a very rich man, and you don't get to that position by being a failure at business.

Pretty much every international businessman has had dealings with Russians at some point. It was encouraged by the US, as the best way to keep Russia tame is to make them reliant on international trade.

They are plenty of reasons to dislike Trump, but those 2 are poor reasons.

I think trump is a polarising figure, like marmite you either love him or hate him.

Taking away the emotion from debate is important, this can only be done in a court of law. It will be settled.

In the end we don’t live forever and Trump hasn’t got many years left. If he wants to continue fighting for the rest of whatever remains of his life, so be it.

Why should we all stress for?

Trump is not a great businessman. There was a story a while ago that if he’d simply invested the money his dad gave him rather than using it to fund his business empire, he’d have been wealthier than he now is.

You need to do more research into Trump. Apparently according to documentaries I have watched and articles I have read, much of his fortune is just paper dollars. His various companies have been loaning each other money with an ongoing merry-go-round of debt often funded by mortgaging. His companies are renowned for screwing over their suppliers.

I didn't say he was great, I said that he wasn't bad. Forbes estimates that he's worth 2.5bn, and the thinking is that he received 413m from his father. You don't get that sort of increase with a simple investment.

Though lord knows how he managed to lose money running a casino. That sort of thing would seem impossible unless you do it on purpose.

Much of any high level businessman's wealth will be in 'paper dollars'. You don't think that Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos actually have several billion dollars in cash sat in the bank do you?

Borrowing money to fund your company, and screwing over suppliers are considered to be good things in the world of business. Those things make him morally corrupt, and an unpleasant person to deal with, but in terms of rating businessmen they give him extra points.

"I'm sure the real you is well aware that Trump inherited his fortune, then went and blew lots of it on businesses that went bankrupt."

Yes, Trump has had many business failures. But that's common for entrepreneurs. They try all sorts of things, some of which work, and some of which don't. But Trump has more wealth now than when he started, so he can't be that bad at business

Just to make it clear - I'm not saying that Trump is a good person. I'm saying that if you want to criticise him, there are plenty of better angles to use.

There are lots of fun reasons to critise him.

The reason it's good to point out what an absolute disaster of a businessman he is, is because Trump supporters often like to point to him being rich as some kind of measure of success. (Despite him appearing to be a deeply miserable human).

Ok maybe “paper dollars” was not quite the right terminology. What I have seen and read said his “wealth” is heavily inflated and even fake in some cases. I may have this wrong but one example was how he has mortgaged his Scottish golf course to the hilt, then used that cash to lend to some of his other businesses who in turn borrow to lend to more of his businesses and basically the money is just going around and around but due to staggered/unaligned accounting periods, their balance sheets look (temporarily healthy).

He certainly seems to think that being rich is a measure of his success. He regularly claims to be a self-made man, which clearly isn't true.

I think he probably was fairly happy with his life, up till the point that he ran for president. It seems to me that he was surrounded by yes men, and felt that he was big and important and well respected. Once he announced his candidacy he was exposed to opinions that he wouldn't normally hear, and I don't think he expected things to be so difficult.

I agree with you that he certainly doesn't seem to be a happy person now.

There was an opinion piece way back that discussed the idea he only ran for Republican nominee to boost his profile, and that he had no intention of winning and becoming president. Who knows if that's true. But I wouldn't be surprised.

"Leveraging" is seen as a good thing in top-level business circles.

"The thing with the state charges is. If he becomes President again, he can't pardon himself from state charges like he could do with Federal charges.

But I don't think there is enough time to convict him before the elections start. That is the Trump camp argument the want the court cases adjourned until after the election. So if he wins he could pardon himself.."

For the avoidance of doubt ..

1. Trump as President can theoretically pardon himself of Federal crimes but not State crimes like Georgia has indicated him for.

2. The Republican Govenor of Georgia cannot pardon anyone for Georgia state crimes. There is a 5 person Georgia State Board of Pardons and Paroles. To receive a pardon, inmates have to have completed all sentences at least five years before applying and must have "lived a law-abiding life" during those five years, the board states on its website.

3. A litigant who loses in a federal court of appeals, or in the highest court of a state, may file a petition for a “writ of certiorari,” which is a document asking the U.S. Supreme Court to review the case. The SCUS is packed with right wingers who, contrary to the Law, may make a political decision to free Trump.

So Trump will be up against it anyway.

"The thing with the state charges is. If he becomes President again, he can't pardon himself from state charges like he could do with Federal charges.

But I don't think there is enough time to convict him before the elections start. That is the Trump camp argument the want the court cases adjourned until after the election. So if he wins he could pardon himself..

I just find it so weird that we are even discussing this stuff in reference to the POTUS! All this absurdity is becoming normalised

Basically, with enough money, PR and media backing, literally a moron can become president.

There were no votes to be found as the state had counted them all 3 times… electronically, paper and then a full hand recount

He made all sorts of accusations on the phone call… 5000 dead people voted…. Do you know what the actual answer was! … it was 2! ..as in .. check 1 2… 1 2! .. how do they know? The cross checked the death records and certificates again the hand ballots!

With regards to the phone call Actually it does in Georgia… tampering with an election , obstruction of a federal proceeding and coercion of state officials

Find me 11780 votes which is 1 more than I have right now because I won the state

Did he not say that on the tape!

Anyway… 1 last thing… hard to call Georgia a Dem state when the top 4 positions statewide are all held by republicans, both statehouses have Republican majorities … and Georgia had not voted democratic candidate for a senate seat since 84, before trump managed to lose both in his watch in 2020!

Last time Georgia voted democratic in a presidential election was Clinton in 92

That’s a spin… if that was the case how comes every other republican who ran statewide on the very same ballot won…..

Oh.. and it wasn’t monumental… it’s been slowly shifting over time, and the effort to get people registered and get out to vote has been epic!

Georgia is now a very red leaning purple state… if you put up a moderate republican against a moderate democrat in the state the moderate republican will win… if the republicans put up further right republicans then they are in trouble!

He might be an arrogant arse hole but where are we getting that idea from? The media we all consume?

Why are there not more folk asking why a man that is clearly popular amongst his people (they wouldn't vote for him if he wasn't) is being demonised and slandered by all the state institutions.

If you ask us, neither Trump, nor Biden, nor Hillary should ever hold any powerful office again. It's a sad state of affairs when awful people like these bunch are the best that the electoral college (corporate lobby group) can select.

It won't be slander if he's found guilty by the courts.

The thing about Trump was, he bypassed the media, we could see his thoughts directly on his Twitter account. We didn't need the media to tell us he was a deeply insecure, unhappy and narcissistic man.

Yes true, but that's what the real issue is isn't it? He bypassed one of they systems that allows folks to maintain control. He was seen as a loose cannon and had to be dealt with.

Now he's being dealt with because he went off script. I guess he can be thankful he isn't being dealt with in the same way JFK was.

Um... Trump is facing various charges because he seems to have broken the law in major ways. That's why he's being subjected to the justice system.

‘Went off script’?

He tried to subvert democracy, played a part in inciting a riot, and uses his social media to threaten those who stand in his way.

He was generally on script in terms of tax breaks for himself and the wealthy, fucking over ordinary people for corporations to profit and fucking over the planet for oil company profits. But he was off script as in he was too stupid to understand what was going on around him, and was extremely random and difficult to deal with.

I think that the world has been given notice as to what another Trump Presidency is likely to look like. Ugly and divisive for sure and probably very dangerous indeed for the societal norms that people expect in a civilised first world country.

Unfortunately, I think that there are a lot of people who crave chaos and disorder simply because they have become complacent with the benefits of life in a civilised country.

That is so very Trump. “We are hated, they dislike us.”

Not true by Trump and not true by you.

Ordinary, decent folk get on with other ordinary decent folk because there is far more that unites us, than divides us.

When we see some people in America whose world is so upside down that they see enemies amongst themselves and wish civil war on their own country - people like that are not disliked, they are just pitied.

The American powers that be are really putting in all efforts to derail trump.

His popular with the people the more they slander him the more popular he gets.

Sooner or later some kind of accident will befall trump as it is the only way they will get rid of him.

Yep because applying the process of the law to a guy who seems to have broken it repeatedly is all just slander...

The process of law ignored for every other president? Where's the process for the war crimes committed by Bush Jr and his illegal wars? How about the countless innocent deaths ordered by Obamas overuse of drone strikes or the closet stuffed with skeletons that both Clinton's possess.

Let's not pretend Trump is any more or less of a monster than any other sitting leader or potential leader.

Exactly this, I have wondered for a long time what is different about trump, every US president who has been caught doing what they shouldn't, have not gone to jail they have been defended to the hilt or pardoned.

But Trump is going to jail, why is my question.

If your thinking that I am a trump supporter for saying this, I am not, I just find this strange.

I'm not either but it amuses me that people will ignore similar behavior from others just because they like them or politics matchup

Trump took lying and manipulation to a new level. He mocked a disabled person. He coined the phrase ‘fake news’ to denounce anyone who called him out on his lies - just doubling down on the lie, blatantly. He incited the Capitol riot. He refused to surrender power when defeated.

He won’t go to jail, i’m certain of that - but he absolutely should. He attempted to subvert democracy.

Richard Nixon as well as Watergate, also has to pay 2.2 million in back taxes (adjusted for inflation) as he didn't pay his taxes whilst serving in office, took money as gifts and other wrongdoing, he said it was lies and political interference.

I am not saying your wrong about trump, I am just saying there are others who have done worst and they all walked free.

So how come trumps going to jail, it matters not to me if he did, I would ask what is different about trump?

All I have read concerning trump on this thread are media sound bites, not even questioning the narrative the media puts out there.

A women was found not guilty last week for kicking and slapping a horse, maybe it is still on the bbc website.

an animal protester had filmed the assault and it went viral, people demanding she be charged, after the verdict she sighted trial by social media as the cause which took this case to court.

So considering I am not American so will not be on the jury. I will wait for the verdict.

Again I do not support trump, but I do not support the media well the mainstream as they are conservative with the facts.

Rude?

I apologise if I hurt your feelings........

Richard Nixon paid by resigning his office, as he was ultimately responsible for the Watergate scandal.

*

No court case, he paid by losing his presidency and the disgrace that brought.

So, he was 'caught out', consequently he (reluctantly) resigned the office of President of the United States.

*

Therefore, he was found at fault without a court case needed, he realised he (and his accomplices) could not 'do as they pleased' and paid dearly by having no option but resignation.

As for Donald Trump, we must wait until this whole affair is finally settled.

I should much prefer the truth, whatever it may be. This current 'feeding frenzy' by everyone is ridiculous, to say the very least.

"

Thank you, I just do not want to be caught up in all that one-upmanship madness.

One other thing I learned today 41 people involved in Watergate served prison terms.

I came across a programme not sure watch service its on but it is about the Watergate plumbers (shady men who do shady things) that I will watch when I get time.

It stars woody Harrison.

"The American powers that be are really putting in all efforts to derail trump.

His popular with the people the more they slander him the more popular he gets.

Sooner or later some kind of accident will befall trump as it is the only way they will get rid of him.

Yep because applying the process of the law to a guy who seems to have broken it repeatedly is all just slander...The process of law ignored for every other president?

He attempted to subvert democracy. hahaha. He aint any worse than any other president from the last 40 years,

If you can name another President in the past 40 years that attempted to subvert a presidential election result, I’m all ears.

Richard Nixon.

**********************************

40 years ago...??!

yes I saw the mistake well over 40 years, but if he had said 50......

I think we should be debating why the leaders are never at fault, never punished do as they please.

************************************

Richard Nixon was ultimately 'at fault' and paid for it.

Next.....

How?

When he suffered a heart attack in the mid 90's

Nixon was pardoned the next day never saw a court, wrote several books tried to become an elder statesmen (only Nixon could goto China), but failed as he couldn't shake off Watergate and his non payment of taxes whilst serving as president.

But that was more than 40 years ago by the rule so I am wrong admitted it, no need to be rude theirs no need for it.

Next like there's nothing else to comment on.

If you believe that no other president, including the current one has participated in any electoral fraud in the past 40 years then I have a bridge for sale at a great price.

I don't know for sure what that number would be percentage wise but I'd bet my house on it definitely not being zero. Anyone who thinks otherwise is naive at best.

His while mantra last time was " drain the swamp"

This number skull action actively shows the swamp coming after him after trying to " drain it"

He isn't even an evil genius it's just the "good guys" being absolute morons.

Like a said, bridge for sale at a good price if you think the amount of election fraud on either side is ever zero. Have a look at heritage.org/voterfraud. It lists voter fraud convictions, mostly lower level but it clearly happens. If it happens on the lowest levels you can be sure it happens in bigger elections purely based on the stakes involved.

You're letting your political bias influence you emotionally. I don't have a side in this argument, I'm however not naive enough to believe only one side has ever cheated.

You do you however, I'll keep with a balanced view of the world and you keep looking for that boogeyman who doesn't agree with your politics.

Oh I could choose much more about trump. Inciting a riot? Being a big part of the Obama birth certificate nonsense? Lying about Covid treatments? Abusing a disabled reporter? ‘Good people on both sides’, the sexual assault cases, the documents at mar-a-lago.

By saying ‘but they’re all as bad’ you’re actually downplaying the issue and trying to give trump a pass.

You're letting your political bias influence you emotionally. I don't have a side in this argument, I'm however not naive enough to believe only one side has ever cheated.

You do you however, I'll keep with a balanced view of the world and you keep looking for that boogeyman who doesn't agree with your politics.

I don’t believe I said anything about only one side ever cheating, did I?

If someone can produce some evidence of Biden, Obama, etc trying to subvert an election result then I’ll expect them held to the same standards.

My opinion of Trump isn’t based upon his politics, it’s based upon his actions - which are reprehensible.

What you have done is narrowed it down to one specific type of offence because that suits your narrative.

Just about very single president or prime minister is corrupt, anyone who isn't niave knows this.

"

Im not trying to give him a pass. Neither did I say 'they're all as bad as each other'.

The question was asked of 'Why Trump?' 'Why now?'.

The powers that be are playing into his supporters hands by making it look like a witch hunt whilst ignoring all other indiscretions from anyone else in power.

He attempted to subvert democracy. hahaha. He aint any worse than any other president from the last 40 years,

If you can name another President in the past 40 years that attempted to subvert a presidential election result, I’m all ears.

So you can’t provide me with evidence of another president in the past 40 years that’s attempted to subvert the result of a presidential election, then?

Thanks. Like a said, bridge for sale at a good price if you think the amount of election fraud on either side is ever zero. Have a look at heritage.org/voterfraud. There's already been a few in this thread. I'm not going to list every single one (not that I could).

You hate Trump, you think no one has done anything as bad as him. Or if you do, you don't want them prosecuted for whatever reason.

There's no point listing anything. He's ignored all the others mentioned anyway. Trump = The Boogeyman.

As much as I dread to think what would happen if he got re elected, a part of me wants to see some people implode with the rage they have for him.

If you’re referring to Bush and Iraq, I never supported that war. (Unlike plenty in the U.K. and USA who have short memories).

Inciting a riot on the Capitol in an attempt to sustain/regain power. That’s not ‘heinous’?(innocent people also died in that riot)

I thought you were a political sorta character? You really want to dismiss how low jan 6th was?

Mind boggling naivety or wilful ignorance?

I reread the thread.

The ‘list’ is very small indeed and includes nonsense like ‘the Clinton’s have skeletons in their closet’

Give us some proof that other presidents have been given a pass for comparable actions to trump. Show us some *actual proof* that he’s been treated worse than anyone else.

As I see it, he’s being dealt with correctly, as anyone in his place should expect to be treated

So what other comparable indiscretions from others in power are being ignored?

There's already been a few in this thread. I'm not going to list every single one (not that I could).

You hate Trump, you think no one has done anything as bad as him. Or if you do, you don't want them prosecuted for whatever reason.

That’s cool. Don’t list them then.

I await to hear evidence of all these incidents that are so heinous and comparable to Trump’s actions that haven’t been investigated and for which their operators have been allowed a free pass.

You proved the point.

Others have already been listed.

Imagine saying blowing up innocent people isn't as 'heinous' as inciting a riot. That's fucking sick tbh.

As I see it, he’s being dealt with correctly, as anyone in his place should expect to be treated "

Whilst you may not have supported the war, every time it's brought up you don't want to compare it to Trump, you think Trump has done worse.

I didn't say what Trump did on Jan 6 wasn't heinous, you asked for a list because you don't think any are as heinous, especially not blowing up innocent civilians

Trump took lying and manipulation to a new level. He mocked a disabled person. He coined the phrase ‘fake news’ to denounce anyone who called him out on his lies - just doubling down on the lie, blatantly. He incited the Capitol riot. He refused to surrender power when defeated.

But then are you not being a bit disingenuous as well because the answer to your question is not zero, that means there has been mass voting fraud

In the last election the 2016 one.. think it’s about 50 people that were charged with voter fraud.. be that voting for someone who had passed, or trying to vote twice, or voting whilst disqualified ( there are certain states where If you have a criminal record you are not allowed to vote)

But those examples don’t mean mass voting corruption… for example, the trump campaign can have as many press conferences and can go on as many tv shows as they want alleging voting fraud but in none of the 63 cases they lost in court did they put those allegations in a court of law under penalty of perjury!

Bush, bloody hell the things he done and was accused of voter fraud in Florida.

He also left people to die after a hurricane, pictures of people looting shops, but on closer inspection of said photos, people were stealing water and food as Bush sent no help for days.

Started an illegal war.

What we see time and again with trump is some people wanting to see justice done correctly, and others saying ‘what about former president x, y or z’

It’s a curious phenomena.

Shouldn’t we all want those accused of wrongdoing to face due process for doing so?

You want to bring up the Clinton affair again as proof… it may have been unethical but last I checked having an affair wasn’t illegal! (Otherwise there would be a whole lot of people on here in trouble)

And as much as I hate to defend a republican the 2000 election was never about voter fraud as such, it was which ballots did and didn’t ended up counting because of “hanging chads” and that case went all the way up to the Supreme Court, and once it was adjudicated all sides accepted the decision…

His and fema response and relief operation to hurricane Katrina was pitiful… but it doesn’t belong on this list, if it did then trump and fema reaction to hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico
