NI Police have mistakenly revealed details of all its 10,000 staff.

Scary times ahead. Human error blaming it on Northern Ireland terrorists.

"Completely a mess "

Second breach has just been announced from 6/07/23.

It happens when you have idiots who have not got a clue about network security and data base sanitization. They need sacking

It begs to differ how safe is our data.

I read it was a spreadsheet attached to an FOI request that had not been redacted. Not network security. Some little low paid minion is in big trouble!

"I read it was a spreadsheet attached to an FOI request that had not been redacted. Not network security. Some little low paid minion is in big trouble!"

I bet some low-paid minion assembled the data. Send it to their manager for approval, and that manager sent it on to their manager for sign off and sending.

3 people who shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a computer, or any technology for that matter.

I suspect one is on 25K, one on 40K, and one on £60K+. And not a single clue amongst them.

Sack the 60K, written warning for the 40K, and retraining for the 25K one.

I expect more likely the 60K will keep their job, the 40K gets a written warning and the 25K fired.

It's time to remove the 60K'ers and make the buck stop there.

It's all topsy-turvy.

I suggest your shock is better directed at the breachers of the data, instead of deflecting mock outrage at me. Do you need a hug ?

A lot of people can be brought at the right price. How do we not know its an inside job. Wait and watch the narrative, the lies, the self preservation and the cover ups.

I have a mate that’s a psni officer, this officer is terrified and said that a lot of officers have lost faith with Managment/senior officers. Dissident republicans are now saying they have got a copy of the list.

The idea that your name is now out there must be terrifying, it’s a mess and they need something to lean into.

I’ve got a horrible feeling the government will do nothing and see what unfolds before considering a mass protection plan.
