The SNP has been a thorn in the side of this government and it would be no surprise to find out that they (or their masters) are using whatever means they can to try and destroy it. As you mentioned, corruption, syphoning of funds, irregularities with COVID contracts have, on many cases, been washed over yet amount to a far greater value than what has been quoted by the media as being an irregularity in the SNP funds, There is however no smoke without fire and if there are irregularities or theft, this needs to be investigated and those responsible, punished. It is a pity that the same rules don't seem to apply across the board. | |||

Unless someone understands the Scottish legal system, which has some quite fundamental differences with English law, it is impossible to say what the baseline is let alone the political overlay. I dknt think either will happen "Although I fully expect Labour to win the next GE I am thinking it will be a half decent majority as opposed to a landslide. I've heard before that in general Labour need to do well in Scotland to win outright across the UK. If any SNP voters feel like shifting their vote I think Labour will most likely be where most will go. This is just opinion | |||
