"Since when did vandalising plants and flowers save the planet?? Wtf are these people on?" "action" as they call it, is simply vandalism. I look forward to reading about their fines and I really do hope community service, maybe cleaning up graffiti would be apt.

"The other really annoying thing is that these people are (like me) outraged by the Public Order Bill but are playing directly into the reasons given for why it is needed. It is a self fulfilling prophecy. They truly are idiots doing themselves, and those more moderate people who may want to protest on occasion, no favours (although I still maintain there will be Agent Provocateurs)." I agree that they truly are idiots who are doing themselves no favours.

"'Humanity is failing. Everything that you hold dear is in peril. 'The flower gardens that you love, the artwork that you treasure, the buildings that you adore, our traditions. 'What is the point in a garden if you can't feed yourself? 'What is the point in a garden if you can't eat? 'Our government wants more oil and gas', describing this as a 'death sentence for the poorest communities around the world.' Above are some of the statements JOS made during the protest today. One persons terrorist, is another person freedom fighter. " What's feeding ourselves got to do with their cause?

One persons terrorist, is another person freedom fighter. " The first problem is we can't simply stop oil usage tomorrow. Second problem is, JSO can't grasp that industry is working hard to reduce oil consumption in all of the places oil is being consumed or being used for consumables. Third problem, literally everybody is onboard but refer to problem 1&2. Which means we know the issues, but we don't like to see vandalism and disruption, it loses them support.

Apologies, I didn't spot the sarcasm " That’s alright. It doesn’t come across well on here. You want to see a clown show wait till the Epsom Derby! Their partners will be out in force for that one.

"This week the Germans had to use hammers and chisel to get them off the road. I hear the French used tear gas at some point and now at the rugby in the UK. Why do they want to target ordinary people going about their business and enjoying a game. Also what's the significance of orange as seems to be their colour of choice" Orange might be the official colour of lemmings.

"The participants in these environmental protests seem to be overwhelmingly white, female, and middle class. They are clearly being radicalised somewhere, presumably at posh schools and universities. The authorities should respond to the problem in the same way as they would radicalised Muslims or the radicalised "Far Right", and look to the source of the radicalisation. The eco warrior oneupmanship that drives them would soon dissipate. It wont stop them, they will resurface at the next headline thing, much like the XR vandal who threw orange paint at the Chelsea flower show.

"We do need to migrate away from oil as an energy source, but it needs a joined-up plan. Latest fiasco is the National Grid not being ready to connect to green energy generation. Security of generation also needs consideration as we move to EVs. What if our grid was knocked out by a hostile enemy? Then our transport system is down. " The National Grid would cope as it can cope with industrial and commercial load as for the UKPN network supply to you house that's aa diferant mater I have been trying to get an up grade for months but looks like the cable in the road is to old to take extra load.
