"REVEALED: Labour's £1.5m cash injection from Just Stop Oil supporter and eco-energy boss Dale Vince - including £20,000 in donations to Sir Keir Starmer's election campaigns Dales companies have received 36m in subsidies fromt he taxpayers. Actual subsidies. Not tax accounting." By "REVEALED", you mean that he gave an interview to The Times about it, 3 months ago. I'm not quite sure where the news value is in someone running a company which benefits from Tory policies, but who personally supports Labour.

"People seem to like tedious links here. So we ha e a just stop oil sponsor. Who's also sponsoring the labour partyand indivodual labour mps. Seems this could be seen as lobbying But he also received money to do this via green incentives. I thought people on these forums love tedious links. Man given free green money, gives money to group that further green policies, amd donates to parties pushing further green policies. All the while. Breaking the law. People seem to cry on this forum when a man merely hands over a phone number. " what's breaking the law bit here ?

Just as certain other individuals in other threads didn't break a law. But it's seen as sleaze.

"I thought people on these forums love tedious links." I assume you mean "tenuous links". Those are popular round here, but people usually explain how the link works. "Man given free green money, gives money to group that further green policies, amd donates to parties pushing further green policies." You mean 'man whose company receives free green money, gives his own personal money to the political party that isn't controlling green policies'. I'm sure you're fully familiar with the difference between company money and personal money. "All the while. Breaking the law." You'll need to spell that one out for us. What law did he break?

I thought I'd explained it. Hes donating .only to labour and individual mps. And the also funding an organisation breaking the law. Therefore labour are kowtowing to a lobbying group and funded by the same funder. I genuinely thought this was how this forum worked? L

"Hes donating .only to labour and individual mps." There's nothing dodgy or sleasy about that. Lots of people donate to the Labour party. "And the also funding an organisation breaking the law." But not breaking the law himself. I personally don't like that he's funding Just Stop Oil, but everyone has the right to make their own choices. "Therefore labour are kowtowing to a lobbying group and funded by the same funder." I don't follow this bit. Where do you see the Labour party making policy changes to accommodate JSO?

"... they were funded by this lobbying group and its main funder who received state aid..." You keep being careless about this. He did not receive state aid, his company did. Accountants really ought to know better than to make this sort of mistake.

Simply introducing Johnsons aid to a 3rd party was sleazy... And the also funding an organisation breaking the law. But not breaking the law himself. I personally don't like that he's funding Just Stop Oil, but everyone has the right to make their own choices. Hes paying people to break the law. Therefore labour are kowtowing to a lobbying group and funded by the same funder. I don't follow this bit. Where do you see the Labour party making policy changes to accommodate JSO? As per other forums discussions how does funding some one not mean they are indebted. "

Well if you, a man with accountancy training, are going to deliberately blur the distinction between company funds and personal wealth, just to score a point about a person you don't like, I think we're done here.

He failed to disclose a potential conflict of interest during the recruitment process for a role he was only in the frame for due to Johnson the PM putting him forward after Sharp had helped (facilitated) Johnson secure a loan while he was under financial stress.
