" This is very true and reflects how poor wages have become compared to the higher earners . It would be interesting to see how much this costs when businesses are rife with zero hour contracts and poor pay. | |||

" The economy has relied on people working for very low wages and topping them up with benefits for a long time. It keeps them 'in their place ' and let's the people who earn enough to live on feel superior to lazy benefit claimants. | |||

Remember that it is the party that has been in power for over a decade that last overhauled the benefits system. | |||
