"There are rumblings, a disturbance some may say, a phantom menace, waiting. The tories are desperate to cling to power. End of year polls are putting them 20 points behind Labour which means utter defeat if an election was called. Some rumours have been circulating that if the local elections are lost in May, this may spell the end of Sunak and if believed may bring back Johnson as PM. So what do people think?, will his comeback save the tories from oblivion? or will it make the situation so bad for the tories that it will be guaranteed that they will be out in 2024?" . You can hardly describe Boris Johnson as a phantom menace. He won the last election with an eighty seat majority, implemented an award winning vaccination programme and saved many from financial ruin during the Covid 19 crisis. As far as I am aware the Conservatives won the last three elections. They are a lot more popular than any other party . Rishi Sunak does not deserve to the pm . The country needs leaders such as Boris who is extremely popular with the electorate. Such was his popularity that those who disliked him went to extreme means to find and exaggerate any minor fault. The next elections are two years away. There is plenty of time to elect Boris as leader and organise another successfull election campaign The Islington based high earning woke loving middle class elite who love Labour are only a very small section of society but attempt to present their opinions as the norm . Election results say otherwise. Fingers crossed the election results will be a repeat of 2019 . Boris is a prove winner . That is why the educated high earning woke loving metropolitan elite hate him. They simply cannot replicate his success

You should have your own stand up show.

But then someone competent to then deliver ... And not party espexially not with Russians, and not put sex pests into positions of power!! Ps feels like the only difference between Tories and labour is Tories don't love the woke.

"In all fairness, regardless of how he ran the party (literally it turned out to be), the Conservatives were elected by the majority with the understanding that Boris was their leader. Nobody chose Rishi as PM, people with positions of power did so behind closed doors. There is something that doesn't sit right with us about that." but there is also the understanding that the leader can change. You elect the party and the manifesto. The nature of our democracy is that the PM isnt directly elected. The only reason BJ went to the electorate was because he saw the chance to gain a majority. Not because it was right.

Does it make much of a difference which Tory narcissist is at the helm?

"I don't think many people would vote for Boris again. I did but the party thing above all did it for me. He would never get my vote again." I suspect many people feel the way you do. It wasn't just the lying & rule breaking. It was the fact he did all that while many people weren't even allowed to see dying loved ones or visit funerals in person. His behaviour was disgusting.
