Longridge

With Winter approaching with the potential issues of supply of energy.

Do we really need to represent ourselves at COP27. In order to avoid Winters like the one drawing in becoming a 10 year Groundhog Day, we technically have no choice than to embrace renewables and Nuclear.

Building more Gas fired is pointless as supply is tight and expensive, coal isn't a ling term solution.

Hopefully, governments have already had the wakeup calls already by shitting themselves on availability of supply this Winter.

It's just an opportunity for the politicians to get some new photos taken with Bezos and Gates, and to receive their latest instructions from BlackRock, Goldman Sachs, the WEF etc.

Why does it have to be an in person event. Can this not be done online to save the travel expenses and accommodation expenses, not forgetting the environmental impact of course. I agree it's important but maybe could be done differently
