So…. I don’t know if I want to watch it and start feeling some sort of sympathy because of the shoeing she is going to get…..

Yvette Cooper is on point though. Have to say, when given the chance, Ed Miliband has been slaying it too!

First question: Are you happy that Jeremy Hunt is now the Prime Minister?

2nd Question: Which of the policies in the mini budget were the design of think tanks in Tufton St?

3rd Question: How many of the special advisors in No.10 and working with Cabinet Ministers have connections to think tanks in Tufton St?

Her performance today is key. If the opposition just walk over her, whilst she parrots the same answers over and over again, may well bring someone with competence into her post.

What is politics supposed to be about?

I do agree that Starmer ought to finish her off today but in my opinion this focus on personality and charisma in politics is a bit misguided.

I’d like us all as a nation to focus a bit more on competence and public service.

That was her chance to try and get some kudos by at least facing the opposition and owning what she has done, instead she sent a message to all and sundry not only is she fiscally irresponsible and not worthy of trust with this countries economy but she's also out of her depth politically..

….. and back in the real world!

Basically last week’s fallback line was “well we are going ppl 2yrs of energy support, where you are only going them 6 months!”

She can’t even use that anymore……

Starmer can either just joke her to death… or he can go into it really somber and take her apart bit by bit… I would also tell his backbenchers not to be noisy, as that would help with the seriousness…

The one thing starmer is good at is being forensic… I think the somber approach is going to make for a boisterous appearance of the other side is going to be glaring

It could be that thing about being magnanimous, he knows she's not going to be there at the GE so to rip into her too much might engender sympathy from her own who are sorting out how and when they kick her out..

It all makes an odd contrast to Johnson. There was more fury about Johnson in PMQs over Partygate. With Truss, I think the Tories have all accepted it's just over already. There's more of a defeated feel from them now.
