Oh dear, Truss is seriously deluded now, I don't think that is on the cards.

It was so half hearted, it was like she was waiting to be sent to the gallows.

What a muppet.

Who could be a competent/even mediocre PM from that lot?

Getting a good one is stretching reality too far

If any1 wants to see the source of this, it's a short Truss interview on iplayer. And it's painful to watch. Truss may be the only person in the country mad enough to think she will still be PM by the next election.

I really hope she does, but she will be long gone before a GE

Bedfuck

She reminds me of a little budgie chick just coming out of her egg, her little stubby wings flicking and chirping for some love and food.

I blame Charles since she shook his hand her brain jumped up and ran off.

The longer she stays, the more she will damage the Conservative Party. Then again - they probably deserve it if you think about how it was possible for such an unqualified person to become PM….

It all goes back to Brexit and Johnson’s purge of MP’s. All of the top talent was expelled and all that was left were MP’s who who now at the alter of Brexit. Dissenting voices, pragmatic voices and even reasonable voices were all evicted.

When Johnson left the pool of ‘talent’ remaining was consequentially poor and none were really ‘Prime Ministerial.’

The Conservative Party itself will pay a huge price for becoming infected with Brexitmania. But how just it will be, to see that Party that has been divided by Europe for decades to be finished off for years because of their ultimate decisions on Europe.

Hard to disagree with that. I last voted Conservative in 2015, and have looked on as the Party has made mistake after mistake, tearing itself apart in the process.

If in the unlikely event she is still PM at the next GE then I don't think there will be any fight at all. SKS will have the house removal people booked well in advance
