Truss couldn't be bothered to turn up to defend her awful actions so far. But when the chancellor gives his statement, she'll be expected to be sitting there too, nodding along to a statement that undoes everything she was pushing + praising.

I can't see any remotely good way that can play out for her. I think it will hugely accelerate her departure.

I watched the urgent question + the chancellor's statement. Based on the faces of all the Tories on those benches, they're utterly done with her. I think she'll be gone soon.
