I almost feel sorry for the poor bastard…

If you don’t know who he is.. he is the chief secretary to the treasury (basically the number 2 in kwasi’s department) and the poor lackey the government trotted out last night and this morning to do the media rounds trying to defend the indefensible….

He is being skewed left right and centre… even nick ferrari on LBC is ripping him limb from limb

When and if the u turn comes it will be because they 'listened' or they will try and stay on message in an ever decreasing circle of zealous indifference and ignorance to the reality..

Often the way with modern politic..

I don't have a shred of sympathy for the guy. Watching him last night was a masterclass in arrogance and downright disdain for the electorate.

It's part of why he's there, he has previous when under Boris..

On the latter point he's not alone there either amongst his peers..

Have you read Lord Hannan's reasoning for the shit storm the economy is in? The increased chances of Labour coming into power!!! So they're now blaming the people who are not in charge because they might be in the future!

I might try this at work if I fuck something up. See how far it gets me.

This.

They've gone from blaming the last Labour government from 12 years ago for every problem, to now blaming the future, currently unelected Labour government.

Nothing is EVER their fault.

Even in their wildest parodies the writers of Yes Minister didn't suggest such nonsensical rubbish..

Straws are wearing thin from so much clutching..

Not seen anything last night or today but saw an interview a week ago and thought to myself the same to be honest. He does come across extremely arrogant even if you don't know who he is or what party he is from. Some people are just like that.

If anyone wants entertainment, look up Mick Lynch that time when he called out Philip as a liar on Newsnight.

Throughout his career, Daniel Hannan has been a serial liar and deceiver. His words are worthless.

There seems to be a major problem with the public school system - producing entitled brats of no talent or ethics but with a massive sense of entitlement an ability to spout shite with total confidence.

When a right wing political commentator says the tories are shit, then you know that they are fearing a collapse in public support.

Even if this was true, the markets are saying the budget has made the Tories markedly more unelectable.

And the public always votes for what is best for it .... Right ?
