Longridge

Some mortgage deals have been withdrawn by banks and building societies due to volatility in the financial markets following the government's mini-budget.

Exactly what I was told would happen 2 years ago, accelerated by lasts weeks EconoNuke, when fixed mortgage for 10years. Just hope later, I don't wish I'd done it for 15years.

Buckle up Dorothy..

Just got a 5 year fixed at 3.6%

Hopefully 5 years is long enough to ride this out

You'll hopefully be sheltered from the worst, if nothing else.

Many thought I was stupid for fixing 2.55% for 10 years. These are now coming to the end of their 3yrs.

My buddy a few months ago got locked in at 1.8% for 2 years. I asked why he didn’t take 5 and he says he didn’t like the idea of being tied dune too long

Idiot
