Should operations on the NHS be cancelled on that day?

Interesting. So some families may go hungry that day?

Maybe the establishment think that the plebs will not notice things like hunger in their mourning.

Food banks always close on a bank holiday however people will still be able to plan ahead and go on the Friday.

Operations don't cancel for bank holidays. Hubby is still oncall for any major IT issues at work. Folk just need to plan ahead a little or go the day after.

I think the entire thing is insane. Yes she was the queen and a very long reigning monarch, however the UK shouldn't stop because of her death. She was 96 ffs. People who want to watch the funeral should be able to, bank holiday too if needed but things that are very important to be cancelled is stupid, especially with the current crisis .x
