The answer is, once elected, she will work along with others for a one party state run by an autocrat (e.g. Trump). That is not Democracy as the will of the people is subverted to the handfull of rulers by deception. Freedom will be redefined as the ability to always have a GOP candidate returned by Wyoming. It is sad to observe, that the descendants of the puritans, who fled Britain because they rejected the tolerant, less draconian, Church of England to follow their own harsh beliefs have apparantly reformed in north America as followers of D.J.Trump. Whatever is told to them, whatever evidence they see, they still reject anything that does not fit their narative. Perhaps, as has already been observed, their proclavity towards belief in the unseen, scientifically unproven and inexplicable has rendered vulnerable to manipulation. I just sincerely hope Britain never turns political following into a belief system and religion. | |||

Obviously not the "one party state" bit because some things are left for later. She has however already started saying if she is not elected then it will be a because the Democrats have cheated. She supports the Qanon followers who are standing for important offices in the state. The authors of the American constitution never envisaged a State holding a federal election and then sending electors to Washington to vote for the candidate who lost the vote. This will cause a constitutional crisis. Perhaps even the breakup of the United States. | |||

Tax in scotland is already higher than England, Wales and N. Ireland. I know that independence will result in far higher taxes, lower standards of public service, serious currency issues and an almost unaffordable national debt burden. Brexit is forecast to take at least 20 years to get us back economically to where we were pre-Brexit. Scotland may never recover and sink into a third world status whilst waving SNP "Take back control" and "We hate Westminister" flags. | |||
