Now Johnson's off to Chequers?

After two exhausting holidays while a crisis builds, Johnson is apparently now moving out to Chequers to make absolutely sure he won't have to do anything approaching work.

He really is reaching whole new levels of taking the piss + showing utter contempt for us all.

Is it not the truth that he cannot do anything anyway?

He can’t make any new policy’s because that’s the new pms job.

The party as a who is at fault dragging out this contest instead of running a rolling count until one gets more than 50% of the votes.

They could sit down together + agree something if they could be bothered. However Johnson, Sunak + Truss don't seem to give a toss about any of us.

Don't you think it outlines just how important it was for Johnson to keep his job? They were scrambling for him to keep it given the crises we're facing. All so he could fuck off and have a jolly. Why does he need this amount of holidays now? He's going to be a backbencher shortly anyway. That said, is keeping the worst PM we've had since the war at arm's length really a bad thing?

Only if you are politically engaged and accept the offer of legislative forms when you vote, i see Mr Johnson as a bloke on the telly who likes to ruffle his hair up, he has got that down to a T though the ruffling, and he is an ex pm if you are politically engaged.

Liz and rishi seem to have very different ideas for the way forward so it would most likely be a complete waste of time. He can't and probably should not be making any big decisions. It's far safer he keeps well away until his last day.

He is no longer doing his job, he should stop getting paid, the same as anybody else!

Hard to argue with that. (Then again, he wasn't even doing the job beforehand. He's always been a lazy shit.)

True but even slackers get paid until they're sacked

. Unless you have access to his diary you would have no idea of his work schedule and are simply guessing . Most people are very greatfull for the £37 billion support package already given to those in need . Just because he is on holiday does not mean that he is not working.

Maybe it was Johnson that Truss was referring to in the leaked audio clip?

Oh it's inarguable that Johnson is as lazy as they come. But Truss hasn't criticised him as far as I know. She's been praising him to high heaven in an attempt to suck up to the far right base who are averse to reality.

Johnson has absolutely no motivation to do better noe. He wanted to be 'King of the World'. He's had a little sample as PM of the UK and couldn't hack it.

All he had to do is not take liberties or waste money needlessly. So much potential squandered down to nothing more than his own hubris and stupidity.

That said, he was always somebody else's marionette. They all are at the end of the day.
