No one mentioning it?

Tories kick the slob out but don’t have the balls to call no confidence in him.

Shows how tories have no morals whatsoever, when threatened they would continue to support him even when they have ousted him.

The tories more interested in power than the people.

What a pathetic bunch of cowards, said before they have no backbone, they are miserly and weak.

They couldn’t deliver the killer blow, shows weakness and incompetence is now endemic within the party.

Well wait until they fuck the economy more, there will be reckoning at the ballot box, and it will be bye bye tories, with less than 170 seats, just like in 1997.

To get rid of him would involve admitting they were wrong...

"Party before country should be the Tory mantra."

It is.

To defend to Conservative party here for a moment. They're very honest about only serving themselves and their donors, they don't even try to hide it.

They know full well that people will keep voting for them regardless. Why would the both trying to hide their nepotism and self service?

"Party before country should be the Tory mantra."

I think "personal ambition before Party before country" is more accurate but yeah

Johnson just lies all the time. All too often he's allowed to get away with it, unchallenged.

That's a bit insulting to dogshit. It never did anywhere near as much harm as Johnson.

To be fair, it was never going to be anything else.

Labour wanted a vote on the House having no faith in The Prime Minister, but Johnson refused knowing that he would be humiliated. However, to show some good faith (lol) he allowed a conventional debate on the House having faith in the Government in the absolute knowledge that not a single Conservative would vote to collapse the Government - which is what would have happened had they lost.

This will be spun in the future that even in his his last week in Parliament the House still overwhelmingly supported the Prime Minister and his Government.

I think that we will have one more year with a new PM - whoever it might be and the pressure on the Government will cause it to collapse. The splits in the Conservative Party are all too evident and I don’t think that any of the remaining four candidates will be able to unify the Party. Sunak might be the front runner, but he hasn’t got the ERG on side and we saw what they did to Theresa May.

Sunak seems to have been annointed as the next leader already. It does look like a poisoned chalice at this point. Oh well. What a shame.

News is coming out that Boris is taking revenge on people that didn't vote for him in the vote of confidence the other day. An MP has had the party whip withdrawn for not voting-just a bit of a problem when the MP was on an official visit in Moldova so was unable to vote. Despite that Boris has basically sacked him.

The tories are going to rue the decision to leave him in place and not kick him out straight away. There will certainly be more to follow as he takes his revenge.

Just to add to the disgust of the man it looks like he is going to make Nadine Dorres a dame in the house of lords. She must really be giving him good BJs because she is useless at everything else
