Charles speaks out against the Rwanda project (probably cheesing off his mother as the monarch should be seen as apolitical and as heir-apparent should do likewise) and the next time he's getting media attention, Charles took bags of Euros donations. Is this tit for tat?

Absolutely.

Very little coverage about Prince Charles for months and months, he then criticises the Government, and a few weeks later comes the Sunday Times with their report (of which they admit no suggestions of anything illegal occurred).

This is a very clear message from the Government to the Royals that if they stick their head above the parapet, pot-shots will be taken.

We all know The Whips have the dirt on their fellow MP's, which is used to whip them in to line.

Is it that hard to extrapolate that the Government have the same in other departments, ready to deal with pesky and critical troublemakers ?

The question to ask yourself is, "Is this the sort of government we want by any political party ?"
