Can any of our Tory friends explain why their political leaders are so vocally critical of lawyers who represent individuals in the pursuit of their human rights?

I only ask because it seems to be in stark contrast to their deafening silence - even now - regarding the work of the lawyers employed to enable the laundering of dirty Russian money.

Surely it can't be because they believe human rights shouldn't be defended?

Well, three days later and no - they can't.

I suppose it's encouraging that they realise that there really is no good explanation for such pitiful behaviour.

Lawyers that defend human rights ‘lefty’ - bad

Lawyers that cost tax payers millions to help get ‘Brexit done’ - good

Indeed. And I hadn't even mentioned the B-word.

Although, to be fair, 52% of those taxpayers voted for that expense.

The same can't be said for the money laundering.

Might have something to do with a Government that is willing to act unlawfully get botty whacked by them.

I've lost count of the number of times I've heard that the Government has lost court hearings through acting illegally.

Peroging Parliament

Ireland protocol

Rwanda flights

List goes on..

Everything this autocratic leader of our country does, seems to fall foul of some kind of law and lawyers correct him.
