No. There still aren't enough MPs growing spines, and the whips will be digging up the dirt on the waiverers, to "persuade" them. (You can't use the actual word I mean here, but it starts with B, and ends with mail.)

If he does or doesn't it isn't going to change things in our country for a long long time to come.

He won't be kicked out today unfortunately but on the 23rd a by-election here in Devon will see a safe Tory seat lost to the Liberals and that could do it hopefully .

Here occasionally, but mostly somewhere else

Whether he loses today or clings on, the issue is who would you want to replace him?

You need a reasonably senior tory MP that isn't an appalling human being (Patel), a grinning imbecile (Truss), or a self-interested billionaire (Sunak).

Answers on a very small postcard.

Don't forget that it's Conservative Party members that will be doing the voting. Do they consider Priti Patel to be an appalling human being, or do they see her as a strong individual who knows how to get things done, and is usefully immune to accusations of racism?

Yes or No answers only please, with no qualifications, comments, suggestions or alternatives allowed (like the Brexit Referendum, remember?), so:

NO

Johnson also couldn't be bothered to go to the 1st 5 or so Cobra meetings on Covid.

+ his government rammed infected OAPS into carehomes without testing, resulting in many deaths among the most vulnerable.

+ he broke the law + lied over and over again about Patygate. Treating us all with utter contempt. When we couldn't say farewell to dead + dying loved ones...
