I'm not sure if any of that will have happened within 30 years.

Not sure it'll matter, either - because the climate will be well and truly fucked by then.

If I'm still alive, I'll be pretty relaxed about dropping off the perch.

I don't see how a power share in Ireland could work. Not until they put religious divide to the side. Can't see that happening soon unfortunately

Don't know too much about Wales.

But scotland is currently run by a fascist female who has the majority of scotland in the palm of her hand. While she is in power she will do.whatever she can to split the union while simultaneously blaming Westminster and brexit for every thing that goes wrong in scoland.

. It is difficult to see why the UK should not remain United . Scotland firmly rejected independence last time and there is no reason why the result should be any different this time. In NI the percentage supporting a United Ireland is a long way below the requirement to win the ballot . The consequences of a United Ireland would be economic ruin for Northern Ireland . I cannot see having to pay to use the NHS and the loss of a £10 billion pound subsidy being a vote winner.

We are paying to much attention to those allocating independence or a United Ireland .

Next election they will be the biggest party in Republic according to all polls

Only a matter of time. The demographics have been shifting in that direction for a while. Best thing for ‘the North’ long term as likely to prosper much more as part of a fully united Ireland than as a subsidised sick child of England.

Reckon it will happen in our lifetime?

It would certainly make for a curious situation in 30 years time of we have NI part of ROI and back in the EU and an indy Scotland also back in the EU.

Leaving Wales as the sole dependant of an abusive parent. Unfortunately I think Wales demographics has been skewed too far to enable independence. It has no Oil, but has plenty of other natural resources, but decades of mismanagement by Labour and being kept under the thumb by England have sadly left the country largely in a poor economic state. Much like parts of the North of England. So harder to call how Wales might unfold in next 30 years.

But the UK as we’ve known if the past 20 years is no longer. Things are changing and the longer the Tory polices apply I think the more the appetite for that change will grow.

We live in interesting times.
