Poor David Frost, "My negotiating team was treated brutally as the supplicant representatives of a renegade province, culminating in us being shut in the meeting room in the Berlaymont until 2am on the final night of talks".

Imagine had he managed to finish at 5.00pm like most people - the oven ready deal would have been so much better.

Fortunately, We held all the cards, yet here we are, letting in imports unchecked, whilst crippling our exports.

You have to feel sorry for him...

Poor bloke, no wonder he resigned, what is he doing these days? Apart from moaning about the deal he negotiated?
