"Good job they got plenty of options coming online https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-61237519 My guess is Germany may be next now they are sending some well publicised weapons system" Then pressure will be on LNG, more price hikes to highest bidder.

"Russia will stop sending gas to Poland from Wednesday, the Polish state gas company PGNiG has said. Who is next? " Bulgaria is also on the naughty list!! Remember they already threatened Germany and France by saying they wanted those payments in roubles … and when they said no, they blinked They won’t cut of them because they then lose any leverage they have left

The UK is in his eyes the most unfriendly coutry so why he has not cut off gas already is beyond me?. Unless the uk has allready cut back on the little we were importing.

" Because Russian oil and gas only accounts for about 7% of that used in the UK energy industry ( funny enough mainly used in diesel production) and it basically not be using any from the end of the year Poland were on the way to becoming energy independent of Russia anyway, hoping to be there by next year… the Baltic states had the foresight to see this coming so they are already energy independent just in case Russia ever thought about playing that card. The ones to really look out for are France, Germany and Italy …

"Didn’t see this and just started another thread but will repeat here... So it is getting increasingly likely that the EU/EEA will invoke the emergency energy protocol in order to stop dependence on Russian Gas. Norway will be obliged to prioritise gas supplies to EU countries as a condition of their EEA membership. That means as a third country the UK will need to source gas to replace Norwegian gas. Likely causing further increases in prices. Brexit, the gift that keeps on giving." Winning

Bloomberg claim 10 European energy companies are preparing to pay Gazprom in troubles and 4 already have. Not sure how they know this though

Their governments are going to act in the best interests of their people; as we expect ours to do. Although, as we well know, that often leads to disappointment.

Seems to be some confusion as to if it breaks the sanctions given how the transaction is being done. Either way these companies who buy gas for their respective countries seem to agree to pay up. I guess it's that or gas shortage

More likely the individual members will look after themselves and to hell with solidarity
