the selling of renewable energy that is home produced at the same rate of imported energy is criminal. the conservative and unionist government is implementing a policy that idiotic considering they profess to insulating us from global fluctuations. it's high time they pulled their finger out by stopping the selling of our key infrastructure to foreign governments, oligarchs etc, stopped the southern conservative and unionist policy of nimbyism and invested the money which we pay in taxes to free us up from this situation of rampant energy costs outstripping earnings by exponential amounts.

Allowed a small fraction at the top to get rich from some good disaster capitalism.

Meanwhile look at these distractions over here. Labour would be worse. Vote Conservative for some more poverty.

his point was about VAT on fuel, and that we couldn't remove it under EU rules (the article says the Tories introduced it in 1993)

If gov.uk is correct it's still 5pc.
