So by Putin's logic the continuation of innocent deaths and the destruction of cities is the fault of the defenders for continuing to defend them. Therefore I take it Putin will use the same logic to change Russian Museums and History books to reflect the death and destruction at Stalingrad was the fault of the Russians for defending their land not the NAZI's who invaded?

Although this is not a justification for killing innocent civillians intentionally.

When the in invasion started, there was a lot of media coverage of the Ukranian government handing out arms to civillians. Pictures of long lines of civillians of all ages and both genders queuing up to get these arms.

Don't you think that was a mistake, because the enemy could then claim these people were now legitimate targets.

It probably would have happened anyway, but its a thought.

I am amazed by the number of Putin apologists on here. There is simply no excuse to invade another country unless the actions of that country have caused the death of your own citizens (or those of your allies) and you can claim you are defending yourselves. It really is that simple.

Eg. Gulf War 1 = justified as Iraq invaded Kuwait and foreign powers went to their aid.

Gulf War 2 = not justified as the WMD was a fabrication.

No, that's vitim blaming in my book. And that is exactly what Putin is doing. Ironically from a Nation that immortalises its own desperate unity and stand against the invasion of a dictator blames the Ukrainian people for the bloodshed when they are just doing the same.

Handing out arms to volunteer civilians in defence of their country being invaded is never a mistake

They are invading a sovereign country,who cares what they claim"

The Ukrainians have done an amazing job, Russian forces are demoralised and fleeing and relying on long range missiles.

If they can just start pushing back they can win this.

Pootin needs to brought down with a God almighty bang.

Win this I doubt it Russia still controls a large chunk of the country and likely will for a while Russia still has millions of men at its disposal and would think nothing of throwing them at any Ukrainian assault.

Putin will be in power till he's dead and then Russia will have to choose between its own people or a bunch of Socialists in the west masturbating furiously over innocents deaths.I imagine Russia will choose the latter.

Well Ukrainian militias are driving around in civillian unmarked vehicles. Thats how you get incidents like the BTR killing that old couple at the stop sign.

News was going on about the Shopping centre that was blown up yesterday, but forgot to mention Ukraine was using it to hide and resupply multiple launch rocket systems. The sun have a video of a drone following the truck as it fired its rockets. drove away and then hid

I really, really hope that Ukraine doesn't become another Syria.

If it goes on for a few more months it could easily slip that way.

I really, really hope that Ukraine doesn't become another Syria.

If it goes on for a few more months it could easily slip that way.

Great reports Russian Military are more and more demoralized, container trucks filled with dead Russian soldiers, Russian General distressed and depressed by the invasion.

Pootin wants western countries to buy fuel from him with rubbles, that should loose a few buyers, what a dope.

The world will cheer when he and his cronies are gone from this Earth.

There is something that just doesn't sit right about the whole situation, putin is holding back a lot of Russian firepower, and using substandard troops and kit, I don't think he gives to shits about the west and our redline speeches, this is the man who ordered a radioactive strike on an enemy with a cup of tea, and a chemical strike against another all of which on British soil with not a thought of the repercussions.

Then the killing of innocent Ukrainians, Syrians, Georgians and Chechens make him sound like a pathetic despot looser.
