Yep. It's true. Christ alone knows on what grounds he merits it.

Btw, this is a good example of why the majority of voters in the UK don't vote Tory.

Well, we're all similarly disappointed, it would seem - but none of us should be surprised.

On the plus side, we can always remind our Tory friends in the forum that, by voting Tory, this is the sort of thing they're happy to enable.

And why they shouldn't be surprised that we oppose them; because we don't do it without good reason.

Indeed. Someone who did significantly more harm to his fellow citizens, by way of his policies.

Yep it is a pay off to stay quiet. He was Chief Whip at one point and knows where all the skeletons are buried (especially Russian money). Story emerging (or trying) that Gavin Williamson tipped off influential Brexiteers (Tice and Oakeshott) that Banks was directly associated with nefarious Russian agents/financiers.

And the people who enable them by voting for them.

Mind you, HMQ bears her part of the blame. She didn't have to approve it.

Now, I appreciate her refusal may have caused a constitutional crisis; but she could've said "Don't take the piss. Go away and don't bother me with nonsense like this."

But she didn't.

Pretty much, plus the Tories represent the interests of big business, the ultra wealthy, and so that's where the money is.

Consequently they have the overwhelming support of the British media.

The hardcore base yes, but the swinger voters (haha pun intended) are another story. I know small c conservative people who might go libdem out of disgust for the Covid contracts awarded to chums with no qualifications for those jobs.

Not in Scotland. Which is why, expensive though it would be, we really need to leave.

ive heard that Gav was Carries bull, he has the videos and some question about the latest Johnsons paternity. Chuck into the mix when BJ (no pun intended) is forced to refer to Gav as 'sir' Carrie gets a better buzz as he really is one! whilst BJ wibble wobbles in the corner
